The new Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology consists of the set of processes aimed at creating models and components for adding layer by layer material starting from a three-dimensional mathematical model obtained in a CAD environment. Unlike traditional machines, which operate a subsequent subtraction of material from a block in which the desired shape is contained, the rapid prototyping systems manufacture successive layers of materials that can be formed from time to time by liquids, powders, wires or laminates. STRATASYS DIMENSION ELITE
This printer is made especially for those who need ABSplus prototypes with an exceptional level of detail.

The Dimension Elite allows the highest resolution available for a Performance Series 3D printer. Thanks to the FDM technology with which it works, it prints in 9 colors in real ABSplus thermoplastic. When you do not need the maximum resolution of 0.178 mm, the Catalyst software allows you to speed up printing with thicknesses of 0.254 mm.

The CatalystEX software converts the STL file produced by the CAD program into 3D modeling paths for modeling, including all necessary support structures.
